Green Beans with Crispy Garlic

Serves 4


250gm green bean, ends trimmed
olive oil
lemon juice
Salt and pepper
2 garlic cloves


  1. Steam beans until just soft but still have a bite.
  2. Slice garlic cloves into very thin slices. Fry on a gentle heat until nice and golden.
  3. Toss beans olive oil, squeeze of lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Top with fried garlic and serve
