Roast Pork Scratching and Sweet Potato Roast. I made this on a very cold, grey and windy Sunday in London and it cheered me up nicely (along with a glass of red wine (but beer would also pair very well!).
Aubergines taste their best when roasted to perfection as the flesh becomes soft and luscious. The addition of red split lentils makes this a filling dish for lunch or dinner, the spices and feta adding all the much needed flavour.
This bowl of food is ridiculously delicious. Glazed salty tangy sticky miso chicken strips with fresh zingy lemon slaw. So easy it will become a weekly staple.
Oysters Kilpatrick made with salty smokey bacon and worcestershire sauce, sprinkled on a cooked creamy oyster eaten warm straight from the grill. Paired perfectly with stout or Guinness.

Tasty and filling vegetarian potato and halloumi pie, eaten hot at the table or cold for lunch. Make a nice crunchy salad for the side, or try my cucumber salad and serve with sour cream.
